[WoW] Back in Legion

It's been 5 years since I hung my Horde flag and left World of Warcraft and thanks to some good and really persuasive and supportive friends, I am now back in Azeroth and loving it.

The moment I saw the login screen, I remembered how awesome it was to play this game back in 2007- 2008. It felt so epic to see Dark portal in the login screen and I relished every moment of it.

Everything from the login screen sounds to the loading screen, sent me to an abyss of nostalgia. It's like a miasma of Blizzard awesomeness engulfing me and in it, I got lost.

I could almost imagine the smell of Orgrimmar especially now that there is a new Warchief :3

I logged on to some old toons but it felt so different. There were so many class changes since I was gone that I felt overwhelmed. So I decided to level a new character and start over.

With heirlooms, it's not too bad since I manage to level at least 20 levels a day. (And it could be faster if you're not as lazy :P)

I'm surprised to find the guild I am in, there are so many players online most of the time. Around 30-40 on peak hours. Whoever said that this game is dead will probably want to take it back... (that includes me)

I have yet to explore Legion areas but I'll probably post some info once I get there and share stuff to returning players :)

30 Days of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Day 09: Most enjoyed Beast Tribe.

I never thought I'd continue this. I guess I was just waiting for the right answer to this question.

The first few beast tribes were okay but they have little quirks that didn't quite seem to appeal to me. Sylphs had tons of annoying quests that require you to carry things far in the map and stay out of combat, Amaal'ja's desert quests didn't appeal to me either. Especially the fate ones. Sahagin is okay for me, but the small space can get a bit irritating when you wanna move around. Gnats creep me out cause they remind me of insects and Vanu Vanu... well they have a nice dance but nothing else that appeals to me.

The answer to this challenge is definitely definitely the moogle beastribe quests.

Moogles are extremely adorable. I love everything about their beast tribe. Their quests are funny, their dailies are enjoyable and their rewards are ummmmppfff marshmallamazing!

I love the moogle slippers, the cloud mallow mount and best of all, the moogle dance! I can't stop... I just can't.

Hello Wello Marshmallows! Just updating my blog.

It's been a while since housing was released in the game and I've always expressed my dream to live in a large FC house with my friends in Limsa Lominsa's Mist housing wards.

With the insanely expensive housing costs, this wasn't possible for us until the recent patch. It was a race to patch and buy houses in Tonberry after 3.3 patch day and the fear of not being able to buy an adequately priced house was everyone's worry. We were lucky enough that Marach was able to secure a good house for the FC.

I was still at the office when Plebe told me about it and I was so excited to get home. I scurried home after work, as fast as my little lala legs could take me. And when I was finally standing in front of our new house, the feeling was a mix of happiness and excitement.

Our FC is small but I'm lucky that we're blessed with really good people and friends (who can craft really good stuff). So it didn't take long before we started filling in the empty spaces of the new house.

The FFXIV forums and FFXIV cribs episodes were huge inspirations for our interiors. We did a few clippings and floating effects here and there and it turned out quite nice.

All in all, it took us around 3 days to completely decorate the house from basement to the 2nd floor.

Though my personal favorite is the Oriental deck out in the yard. I'd summon my minion and sleep in the garden if i'll be AFK.

With Plebe and Marach's hard work, the last touch was to turn our house into a Moogle house.

It's absolutely stunning!

If you're in Tonberry, please feel free to drop by our house to hang out or have fun. We always love having guests over. :D

Mist Ward 11, Plot 2. Just port to (Mist West) and you'll end up in front of our house.

Cheers!

Youtube update and Lalafell dance party

Hello Wello Marshmallows!

It's been a while since my last uh.. update. I've recently been able to achieve one of my goals which is to upgrade my computer for editing so I can edit more videos. With this, I've announced on my Youtube channel that I will be posting more content.

I'm playing a couple of games right now that I truly enjoy. My only dilemma is that, I don't have a lot of time to play them since... Day job and it takes me 3 hours to go to work and back. That's like 15 hours + Sleep time.

Regardless, I still do my best to make time for the thing I love.

I've been thinking of creating a new Lalafell dance video for quite some time now but the task sounds so much harder than it sounds. Before, I had lalafriends like Chabelita and Felorio who were willing to invest time, love and dedication to making these videos. However, Chabelita has now changed to Miqo and Fel has dropped off the face of Eorzea :(. I miss them but there's very little I can do ...

So I tried to list down things I'd need for new lalafell dance partners.

1. Preferably on PC so we can discord and it's easier to give them the dance steps (copy pasteis disabled in consoles I think)
2. Must have all the emotes needed for the dance (This is pretty tricky since not all lalas have all the dances)
3. Willing to invest time to make the video. I don't want to end up with people complaining that it is taking too long or they leave halfway because *insert reason here*

I was initially eyeing a friend but our schedules never seem to match so I did the last thing I thought I'd do. Ask the lala linkshell for help and PF.

The lalas were nice but very few were available or meet the criteria above. Also, we keep getting derailed from the conversation by all the random cute things that we lalas talk about.

In the end, I was fortunate enough to have a lala and her friend help me out with the video. I'm glad that we got to finish filming really quickly and their enthusiasm for the project is quite admirable.

Elika and Nathell

I allotted around 2 hours for the whole recording but since Elika was an awesome dancer and always gets the timing quite right, it got cut down to less than an hour. (We had to wait for Daylight for the shots though so that took a bit of time.)

I feel sad that some of my adorable friends aren't able to join me anymore. But I 'm glad I was able to meet new friends in the process.

I hope that I get to meet more lalas who will join in :)
